Onto Layer 3 of our Holiday Painting.

Beginning with this layer, and in several layers to follow, we start following the painting and paying attention to any areas that look interesting. We can also paint over any areas that we don't like.

There is no set limit to the number of layers we're painting so there is no pressure.

When I started painting I thought I saw a bird like creature and then later it looked like it was a seahorse. It's going to be fun to see what comes next.

Remember the invitation to write your thoughts or feelings in your journal. This canvas has already surprised me.

One more thing - it's a great idea to take a photo of each layer so you can look back at them and see the whole transformation.
